After graduating from the Italian Institute of Photography, he started his travels and accepted his first assignments in Munich, Madrid, Athens and London.
He has photographed editorial and commercial work for magazines such as Vogue, Mixte, Magazine Colette, D La Repubblica delle Donne, Italian Glamour, Max, A Anna, Vision, Stile, Cross entre otras campañas publicitarias para Renault, MTV Italia, Telecom Italia, Levi's, Lycia, Collistar, Deborah, D-Exterior, Philippe Matignon, La Rinascente, Parasuco Cult, Vicini Giuseppe Zanotti, Warner Music Italy.
In addition he directed videos for Italian artist Vinicio Capossela, directed the dvd ‘Nel niente sotto il sole’ for Warner Italy and videos such as ‘Bardamu’, ‘Ovunque proteggi’ ‘Non trattare’. He also has shot album covers and campaigns for ‘Canzoni a manovella’ and ‘Ovunque proteggi’. Together with Kasia Korczak and Payam Sharifi he founded and was Editor in Chief of ‘Cross Magazine’, which was distributed in more than 40 countries all over the world.
In 2011 ‘Gomorrah Girl’ is published by Cross Editions in 500 copies and sold-out as well as special edition, 30 of 500 copies that constitute the first edition, are numbered and by the photographer and come with a signed photoprint. ‘Gomorrah Girl’ second edition, with a quad fold poster designed by Valerio Spada comes in bigger format and in 750 numbered copies and is now available for sale on this website. Valerio Spada lives and works between New York, Paris and Milan.
